How are we to judge god, then? His holy books portray him as vain, jealous, murderous, and iniquitous. Those who claim to serve him on Earth are enemies of peace and progress, violent, bigoted, and closed minded. His church has funded nazis, crusaded against reason, and worked to assist pedophiles in exploiting children, both by protecting them from exposure and by threatening the parents if they attempt to take action.
No sane human being can look at christianity and not be repulsed and disgusted by it. To see god as anything but despicable, to feel anything but hatred and contempt for him, is to fail in your basic humanity. I hope with all my heart that there is no god, because if there is, if such a being exists, then all of this is part of his plan – and any being that could plan the world we live in today is worse than nothing, less than shit.

Alright, I’ll admit that I do not believe in war and am a boarder-line hippie. I don’t believe that the wars in the middle east are good nor are going on for the right reasons but shit, this bitch needs to be shot!
I may not approve of the war but I would never go as far as to picket a funeral of a soldier. That is disgusting.
I’m surprised that she has not been killed yet!
