The Darwin Fish has been discovered in Canada

Alright, so this isn’t really new news, but it’s new to me and surely to a sizeable proportion of others. And it’s HUGE. Randy Boswell of the Ottawa Citizen reports that a few years ago researchers discovered an extinct Canadian fish with foot-like fins. This fish, Tiktaalik roseae, “has been hailed as an “evolutionary icon” because it represents the crucial transition from sea to land for some of the Earth’s most primitive creatures.”

Memo to Intelligent Design Creationists: This would be an example of a transitional fossil.

WOOOT!!! OMGGG! OMGGG! THIS IS CRAZYYY!

  2. Stoobs says:

No, God just made those fish to make people THINK there were transitional fossils, as a test of faith. A test which you’re failing, I might add!

  3. destogate says:

Yes, I am failing thatt test. And you have failed already because you judged us. You don’t know us or anything. Thanks for taking my sins on your head 🙂

That stupid symbol usually signifies the lack of knowledge about what the creation of life, the requirements and the conditions required.

“The principle of [divine] purpose … stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks … . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered … .”Ernst Boris Chain – Nobel Prize in medicine

Reynard: And what is the probability of an omnipotent, omniscient, omniprescent God from your Bible happening?

And by the way, your ignorance is very clear if you think that DNA just happened by chance. The best knowledge we have to date strongly suggests that DNA is the product of millions of years of slow accumulation of change as a function of survivability and random genetic drift.

  6. JohnBrown says:

Ronbrown: Creationism is the real deal. I prayer for you.
    Read your Bible.

  7. L. Ron Brown says:

Yep. Creationism all the way. GO INVISIBLE PINK UNICORN!
