12 Florida county school boards pass anti-evolution resolutions

The tally of Florida county school boards officially passing resolutions to not teach evolution as fact is now at 12! The panels of twelve Floridian school boards have just shown themselves to be made up primarily of ignorant deluded religious dogmatists who belong in the seats of a Biology class, not on a panel determining the lessons for a field which clearly they know nothing about—well, aside from it being a collection of evil trickery conjured up by Satan to lure naive and trusting Christian boys and girls into a life of sin and an eternity in hell.

hey, they’re old down there and live BELOW the bible belt, give them a break.

The “solution” to this problem is rather simple: Universities need to stand up (as I know Berkley has done) and say a biology class without evolution does not count. This would put selective pressures on these schools and very quickly force them to change. The question is will all universities have the courage? Probably not, just the “good ones.”

Eddie: Very good point! And three cheers for Berkeley!
