the cult is doing a last-ditch attempt, or something: a really shittily produced tv ad on MSNBC and maybe elsewhere promoting Dianetics.org or .com or something. I thought it first was an ad for some discovery channel thing (mankind has conquered the oceans, outer space, the land, the air) , then an antidepressant ad (but what about curing your own self doubt?) , but then – out of nowhere! – Dianetics! It’s the solution to your own self doubt!
