Did Canadian President of Scientology Implicitly Threaten Protester?!

Here is a video of “Reverend” Yvette Shank, President of the “Church” of Scientology Canada, speaking to a protester on an April 20 mini-raid protest in Toronto. Shank asks the protester why she is not wearing a mask. The protester says she is not wearing a mask on account of the warm weather and because she is not afraid of CoS and does not think that the CoS could find her anyway. Shank says that CoS would not even bother trying to find her, but that they could if they wanted to. Is it just me, or does Shank seem pretty confident in her cult’s ability to track down detractors? I don’t blame her given the cult’s years of experience in this sort of thing. Question: Why would the President and supposed Reverend of a supposedly ethical “Church” go out of her way to tell someone protesting against the “Church’s” unethicality that the “Church” could indeed track the protester down if they wanted to? By the way, did I mention that this organization claims to be a Church?

No one was there? Wow. When’d you go? In Toronto the protest went from 11AM to 3 PM – the time period for the permit.

Thanks for the info, Ron.
I went by the KC office (39th and Main) at around 2:30pm; the area was quiet, deserted, certainly no protest going on, and no activity apparent around the front door. It looked as if it were closed.
Maybe there’s another Kansas City Scientology office… I’ll look into it further.

Well, as for it looking closed – that is not at all surprising. While Scientologists are, if they are following protocols, technically supposed to Confront and Shatter suppression, their actual technique appears to be “close down shop, draw the curtains, and prevent Scientologists from even seeing the picketers, let alone confronting them”.

Perhaps these ‘the new black’ comments are being used to link to rigor/self determination shown by the Annon. However that doesn’t make enough sense to me, I’ll be waiting for some kind of explanation.

black: The color that is suitable for almost any occasion, from a wedding to a funeral.
“The new black”: A phrase for the newest fashion trend, catch phrase, or other pop phenomenon that has become pervasive.

Hey, Ron, I went by the Kansas City, MO Scientology office on Saturday, but nobody was there when I went by… I wonder if you have a suggestion about how I might get info about getting involved in protests in my city? Seems as if it might be somewhat tricky, since it is “anonymous”…. ?
