Australia’s A Current Affair and TodayTonight gave great reports on the dramatic Jason Beghe defection from Scientology. TodayTonight surely pulled no punches, casually referring to Scientology as the cult that it is. It has surely been a bad week for Scientology’s floudering PR. In the course of the last few days, the cult has also had to endure the third major international protest against the cult and the initiation of planning for the next big protest, AND the release of a March 2008 Gallup Poll which showed that they are the most disliked religious/spiritual group in America, a title which has essentially been owned by those pesky atheists.
